Request a Lamakū Non-Academic Live Course Site
- Request must be submitted by a UH Faculty or staff.
- Non-academic course sites are sites not associated with a Course Record Number (CRN).
- Examples of non-academic course sites include, but are not limited to,
- Professional development training sites for faculty and staff
- Sites used for student placement exams
- Sites used for student orientation
- LMS sites used by a departmental account
- Please review the Non-academic Site section of the LMS Course Site Status standard operating procedures before submitting form.
- Note: Lamakū is inappropriate for disseminating information or for document and repository use (such as file storage/transfer, committee work, research sites, meeting notes, accessing forms, dissemination of information, etc.). Google drive storage will serve this purpose, or Drop Box if there is sensitive data.
- Appropriate uses of the non-academic site for collaboration should utilize Lamakū "activities" such as Discussions, Polls, Assignments, Quizzes, in some capacity. The LMS retention practice standard operating procedures state the limitation of access to Laulima and Lamakū sites for a specified period of time
