UH Username Change

Overview

Active faculty, staff, or students can request a username change only under the following circumstances:

• There is a misspelling in your name which also appears in your UH Username, or
• your legal name or chosen name has changed and your UH Username no longer reflects your legal or chosen name.
  • Please note that your legal name or chosen name will need to be updated within the system of record before a username change can be requested in this circumstance. For more information on updating your legal name or chosen name within the system of record, students should consult their campus' records or registrar's office and employees should consult with their HR Specialist (or OHR if they do not know who their HR Specialist is).
