Current users: got questions about ECM? ECM FAQs
What is OnBase?
OnBase provides secure and reliable content management that offers improvements with clearing up physical storage space, organized filing, remote sharing of documents, and efficient business processing.
It can provide a simple solution like a repository for scan, store, and retrieval of documents, and it can also accommodate more complex business processes, like a HR solution.
Whether documents are scanned, faxed or emailed, you can eliminate the need to manage multiple, paper-based copies or physical storage, and import them into OnBase for secure storage and quick access when you need them. Additional benefits include reducing the associated costs and improving overall processing time. For functional personnel, your electronically stored documents will reduce the time spent searching for content while increasing security. Access to the system and its content is limited to authorized personnel, all login and viewing events are logged should verification be required, and all documents are encrypted in transit and at rest on our servers.
Why ECM?
"The term 'Enterprise Content Management' (ECM) describes both a strategic framework and a technical architecture that supports all types of content (and format) throughout the content life cycle."
- Reduce paper usage
- Reduce physical storage needs
- Minimize work duplication
- Increase efficiency of document processing
