UH Username - Troubleshooting UH Login Issues

Problem

You are trying to log in to your UH account via the tan CAS login page, but running into the following error:

• This error means that we were unable to recognize your UH Username

Resolution

1. Check that you are entering your UH Username (ex. "uhusername"​​​​​​​) and not your UH Email Address (ex. "uhusername@hawaii.edu").
2. Check for any mistaken spaces at the start or end of your UH Username (ex. " uhusername​​​​​​​", "uhusername ").
3. Fill out the Check Status Form (link) and stop at the page that says "Reset Your Password Online." On the left-hand side it will say "Your UH Username is:           ​​​​​​​."

Problem

You are trying to log in to your UH account via the tan CAS login page, but running into the following error:

• This error means that your UH password was incorrect

Resolution

1. Click on the eye icon to view your password and check that there are no typos.
2. If you have recently changed your password, confirm that it is not auto-filling to a previous password.
3. Reset your password by filling out the Check Status Form (link) and answering your Secret Questions.
