Temporarily Block a List's Emails

To temporarily block emails coming from a specific list:

1. Send an email to listserv@lists.hawaii.edu
2. The Subject line should be blank
3. The Body, should be SET listname-l NOMAIL 
   • Do not include @lists.hawaii.edu at the end of the listname
   • Make sure there is nothing else in the body, including your email signature
4.  You should receive a confirmation that your subscription settings were updated

Unblock a List to Continue Receiving Emails

To resume receiving mail for the list:

1. Send an email to listserv@lists.hawaii.edu
2. The Subject line should be blank
3. The Body, should be SET listname-l MAIL 
   • Do not include @lists.hawaii.edu at the end of the listname
   • Make sure there is nothing else in the body, including your email signature
