eduroam - How to Configure Your iOS/iPadOS Device

This article provides instructions on how to install and configure eduroam on iOS/iPadOS devices. 

Configuring on iOS/iPadOS Devices

If an institution's campus is a member of eduroam, you should be able to get on that campus' network using your UH credentials. Here's how to enable on your iOS/iPadOS device.

  1. Visit the App Store and search for the geteduroam app, then tap the Get button
  2. When the installation is complete, open the geteduroam app. In the Search for your organization box, enter University of Hawaii, then select it from the list that appears.
  3. In the Login Required prompt, enter your [username]@hawaii.edu address and your UH password, then tap on the Log In button.
  4. When the "geteduroam" Want to Add a Wi-Fi Hotspot Network? prompt appears, tap on Allow.
  5. When the "geteduroam" Want to Join Wi-Fi Network "eduroam"? prompt appears, tap on Join
  6. The geteduroam app will now display that you are now connected.
  7. When you want to connect to eduroam, go into your Wi-Fi settings, and select eduroam
