Overview
These instructions are for connecting to the broadcasted wireless SSID across UH Campuses when using Windows.
Connecting to UH Wireless Network
- Press the Windows key + I key to open the Settings. Or use the Search Bar in the bottom Taskbar and search for Settings.
- Once you are in the Settings application, select the Network & internet tab on the left.
- Select the Wi-Fi section on the right.
- Turn Wi-Fi to On if necessary, and click on Show available networks.
- You will then see all available networks. Select your campus' UH network from the list of available networks
- Check Connect automatically, if desired, then click the Connect button. Windows will show its progress as it attempts to connect to the wireless network.
- If you have successfully connected, it will say Connected, open underneath the UH network.
- Once connected, launch a web browser, like Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox, to log in to the wireless network.
- The Wireless Authentication window will pop up and require your UH Username and Password. Once logged in, it should display the text "Success."
- You should now be able to close the window and browse the Web.
