UH Username - How to Reactivate an Expired UH Username

This article provides instructions on how to reactivate your UH account if it has been expired within the past 6 months.

How to Reactivate UH Username

  1. Go to https://hawaii.edu/username/
  2. Click on the button that says Check Account Status.
  3. Fill in the Check Status Form with your First and Last name, UH ID number or full Social Security Number, and Full Date of Birth then click on Check Status.
  4. If your UH username has expired in the past 6 months a pop-up will appear that says You have a recently expired UH Username 
  5. It will then ask for the answers to your secret questions, enter the answers then click on the button that says Reactivate UH Username
  6. From there it will take you to a page that asks to accept the terms and conditions, then will ask for a password that meets all the requirements. Then click the button that says Activate UH Username. You will be redirected to a page that says UH Username Activated
