Can IP address certs be issued?

IP address certs will only be approved when they are for IPs under the control of the University of Hawaii.

What if I have a non-hawaii.edu domain?

Certificates should only be approved for non-hawaii.edu domains that have been approved in accordance with the official policy on Non-EDU Domain Names on UH Network.

What is the SSL Cert duration timeline?

• Until March 14, 2026: 365 or 398 days
• March 15, 2026: Maximum validity reduced to 200 days
• March 15, 2027: Maximum validity reduced to 100 days
• March 15, 2029: Maximum validity reduced to 47 days
